photo of me passing by a framed photo of me holding my son when he was one year old, underneather are books which I have all over my house an my grandparents butterflies that were passed down to me. It really embraces who I am, my family and my home.

about me

my mom gave me a set of framed butterflies that had hung in my grandparents living room. i've always been told that i'd climb up on the chair sitting underneath to try and catch the butterflies. i packed and unpacked them with each apartment i had when i moved to los angeles from Kentucky. i even used them as decor at my wedding. they are a part of home. a part of me...who i am regardless of where i live.

these butterflies and these memories planted a seed of how important intentional and meaningful art is. it fills your home with what it should be filled with. things that make you feel something. something good, something grounding, something inspirational. not mass produced.

whether or not you believe in the energetic powers of crystals and stones - the impact is pretty much the same. what they represent (for instance rose quartz helping to foster love), how they look in your space, the connection you have with where you purchased them or who gave them to you - they take you to positive place.

i hope you've collected many mind-nourishing objects throughout your life. and i hope that something i've created - that's been brought into your space or gifted to a loved one has added to those collections.

i am so proud of this image. it's a collage wall showcasing some of my favorite crystal, stone and reclaimed wood art. i think it's a very unique way to showcase my pieces

...always creating new pieces from my own inspiration
& collaborating with others to create theirs

the desert contains so much strong energy. i believe that when you visit the desert and are around the mountains, you can really relax if you turn over your stress to the nature around you. that is why the landscape is so hard and dry. it wants to absorb your energy. it gains it's strength and purpose from it.
